Following recent disruptions affecting operations in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport (RUH), cargo capacity and routing options across parts of Saudi Arabia remain subject to operational and regulatory constraints.
At Biocair, our priority is to protect shipment integrity while identifying the most appropriate logistics solution for every customer. We are closely monitoring the situation and assessing all available routing options into Saudi Arabia on a shipment-by-shipment basis.
While alternative gateways, including Jeddah (JED) and Dammam (DMM), may be available for some consignments, rerouting depends on operational capability, regulatory requirements and the ability to maintain compliant handling conditions throughout transit and final delivery.
For temperature-controlled healthcare products, maintaining validated cold-chain conditions remains our highest priority. Where alternative routings cannot support required temperature controls or regulatory requirements, we may recommend delaying shipment until a compliant solution can be secured.
Our teams remain in close contact with airline and logistics partners across the region and will continue to evaluate all available options as the situation develops.
We will continue to provide updates as further information becomes available .
If you have any questions regarding current or planned shipments, please contact your local Biocair office. Our team is ready to assist you.
