Biocair is pleased to announce that it has successfully been re-awarded Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification, reinforcing our ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cyber security across our global operations.

The Cyber Essentials Plus is an independently audited certification that goes beyond a self-assessment, requiring rigorous technical verification of an organisation’s security controls. The assessment includes device audits, vulnerability scanning, external security testing, and validation that key cyber security measures are operating effectively.

Cyber Essentials Plus builds upon the standard Cyber Essentials framework by requiring a hands-on technical assessment from an accredited external assessor. This process verifies that the five core cybersecurity controls —Firewalls, Secure Configuration, Access Control, Malware Protection, and Patch Management — are correctly implemented and operating effectively.

This latest achievement confirms that Biocair’s IT systems continue to meet recognised standards for protecting against common cyber threats and provides independent assurance that our security controls remain robust and effective

"Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus demonstrates our ongoing commitment to cyber security, helps protect our business and customers, and provides independent assurance that our security controls remain effective," said Karen Coyle, Head of Global IT Transformation at Biocair.

Building on our Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation in 2025, this re-certification further demonstrates Biocair’s dedication to safeguarding customer data, reducing cyber risk, and supporting secure, resilient operations for the global life sciences community.
